I just started the first of the eight chambers, and it was HARD! I started with my level 11 fighter (154 or something hits, experites, and a small dextirty modifier, so I figured he would do the best) and grabbed a long sword, and started to kill stone monks. But I kept messing up the levers, so by the time I got the third one right, the three monks killed me. I then tried it with my level 11 cleric, who had curing spells, and i figured I could use blade barrier, but they are imune to that. Is there an easy way past this?

I have used my druid for the chambers because his summonings can be a great help.

Wizard, sorcerer or cleric: Animate dead.
Provided your level is high enough to get a boneguard, you're cooking. But any decent summoning is worth a try all the way through the chambers tbh. |

I used my cleric. She'd prepared only summoning spells, so when she entered a chamber she only had to cast some spells and the monsters did the work for her. If she got hit, she used a spontanious healing spell on herself. I finished all the eight chambers this way without much trouble.

mirror image can provide some cover for you spellcaster to finish the first summon. A little hint for the correct lever in first chamber: look at the tile pattern on northwest wall.

the first seven were done by my barbarian and the last one by the monk, both using Žbrute forceŽ, no spells, no potions...
