Help in using spells!

I am a sorcerer in the game..and in all level up i have i can choose one more magic. but now i came to level 6 in magic spells i can choose but i cant use them like the lower level spells!
somone can help me? (by the way i don't think that it's because the level that i am now)

Sorcerer need his charisma 10 + L to casts spells of level L.

E.g. if your sorcerers charisma is below 16, he would not be able to cast 6 level spells. It could be boosted by "Eagles Splendor" spell which is level 2 spell (1d4+1 charisma). It's description is wrong on the spell duration it's base time is hours. Of course you can boost it by any other magic (Winter Wolf's Cloak = +1 charisma).

You can boost any ability to maximum +5 by all means on normal character. On epic level character it can be +10.

Of course, best way is to have high enough innate charisma to cast spells.
