Keyboard stroke failure

Hey

I'm having problems with IWD2. I have a Dell laptop with more than enough firepower for this game

I'm getting this bug however and I haven't been able to find a description in the FAQ's - maybe I'm getting blind

Whenever I start the game, the keystrokes go heywire. Sometimes the stroke gets registered, but most of the times I have to strike the same key 5 times or more for it to register.

It's in all the aspects in the game, from character creation to ingame keys like space for pause - it's annoying (tho I can still play

)

Any solution to the problem?

I know that IWD has some problems with cordless keyboards but that should not be the problem with a laptop...
Have you installed new drivers for anything lately. The newest graphics drivers for a few cards dont agree with it iirc.

I have the exact same problem. Anyone know why my keystrokes are not recognized?
