No.
Except that possible BG3 won't include adventures of Bhaal spawns. |

I've read in an interview somewhere that they are thinking about something like BG but placed in a different part of the forgotten realm. And they said that Minsc, one of the most liked NPC (not by me), will be probably there...those were only suppositions, but you know.....it's where everything start.

I'm still dreaming about an game where you roll your whole party like IWD, but can choose from the kits in BG2. But nope, no news on anything like this, except for the fact that if it's ever made it won't be on the Infinity engine.

There's allways the possibility that Bioware releases the infinity engine and someone else makes a game with it...

Bowie - Check out today's headline news on www.sorcerers.net
Re: Pools of Radiance . . . Using the 3rd Edition D&D rules, Pool introduces a new race -- the half-orc -- and three new classes, the barbarian, the sorcerer, and the monk. You begin the game by creating your party of four adventurers (you can use pre-made characters or create your own) and the 3rd Edition rules also lets you have your characters level up in more than one profession; this means your character could be level two in one area and level one in another. This looks to add a good deal of diversity to the gaming experience and will give your characters access to powers and abilities that are usually prohibited from a specific class. My with Bowie. I loved both IWD and BG but each had issues. Mind you this issues were only in my head. They were both great games, but I'd love to see a game where you make you whole party at 1st level like IWD but with the quests and interaction of BG. Lack of depth was the main problem with IWD. You just killed everything. I wish you could have done more talking and questing like in BG. Fighting all the time gets old after 100 hours or so. I like having a base (town) were you can heal, re-stock, buy new spells, etc. and then be able to venture out on quests. Again this is just my opinion.
What do you think. What would you like in a IWD2 or BG3? |
