    Well, I just finished HotU.

Any good single player module out there?

    I already have EotB.

The Aielund Saga seems pretty cool so far. If you dont mind a sci-fi/fantasy setting, The Hex Coda is also brilliant.

Shadowlords/Dreamcatcher are pretty interesting, if you don't mind the clunky interface (these campaigns use the OC setup, so you can't access your henchman inventory, you don't have access to the special items like alchemist's fire, etc). The fact that you have only one henchmen, with horrific AI, also kind of lowers the level of the gameplay. On the plus side, the story is quite well told, and reasonably long (20-30 hs.)

I just started Demon, the latest module by the same author, and it seems somewhat better than the older ones so far. NWN in the Planescape-Torment setting :) It has all the improvements of HotU. Also, since it starts with the character at the first level, it doesn't matter much if you played the other modules first (maybe just for the background story).

Best mod I tried so far: Cormyrean Nights. Well, I did not finish it, but right now I am giving it a 10. Reasons:

1- starts you at level 8; so you have some power, you don't die to kobolds over and over again.

2 - plenty of quests (in a city environment); reminds me of Shadows of Amn.

3 - 4 different henchmen (I met so far), each with its own quest. and the Adventurer's Guild, which provides you with a believable way of getting quests.

4 - finally: 8 hours rest periods implemented. Also, the shops are closed during the night. I find this adds tremenduously to the atmosphere. No more short naps in the middle of the day and then running all night long. Again, this reminds me of the good old days playing BG.
