@Chevalier: The Magpie is right...but honestly, I was soloing a Cleric/Mage on insane, and I was getting annoyed by that dratted Hive Mother and stupid druid with stupid insect plague.

@Celesialraven: When you've got Robe of Vecna+Amulet of Power+Improved Alacrity (x2 if you want to prep with Greater Malisons etc

) its not THAT big a deal. Especially when you get to kick back, relax and watch your minions do your bidding whilst you laugh at the pathetic attempts your enemy makes to defeat your army of Planetars.

No henchmen for me and the battle was the sir William Rey story in the book you had to "adjust" when going after the Wise Wind. There was a devil in that temple and the priestesses sacrificed the female lead to him.

Heh, that explains it. I went through the last chapter quite fast, so those Winds quests are a blur to me.

So what class are you playing? Looks like you have some protection spell on (protection from evil?) and some wisdom/intelligence enhacing stuff (ioun stone or such). Armor and shield, so it cannot be mage. Yielding a sword, so it's no priest.

I think there are some paladin levels in that character...

Pure paladin, Protection from Evil, possibly two minor protective spells (there was that place in the ruins near to the Ao encampment where you could make a wand with three protective spells). Don't remember if I had anything to enhance wisdom or intelligence, but I definitely had Bull's Strength and Eagle's Splendour (I "wear" those all the time with paladins). Also had some of those short-term paladin buffs on, too, because I doubt I would have been able to hit for 24 points without critical without buffs with that character at level... 11, I think.

Oh, BTW, the woman with a stick looks like a henchman but she's actually attacking my character, not the devil.

There is possibilty of so high damage (critical strike, insane rules - this was done on party member

, 25 STR, very high backstab multiplier, high dmg weapon)

It was critical strike&insane rules..
Weaopn was black blade of disaster,multiplier was x5,and all stats 25 by wish spell.
