I killed the Balor guarding the fire gem/node, but in the process he charmed two of my characters. I can't get the charm to go away. Rested, break enchantment, dispel magic, no luck. Any suggestions (besides reloading and doing it again)? Thanks.

I had the same Problem.
IIRC the icon indicating the charm did not go away, for the entire rest of my game, however the character was not charmed, meaning I could control him as usual. Try out a battle or two, if he is "himself" don't worry about the icon. I never found a real solution. |

Unfortunately, when I enter a new battle, I still have no control over the charmed characters -- they fight on my side, but on their own. Interesting side note, I had summoned an air elemental who was also charmed. Once charmed, it became a character in my party who has been leveling up. Now an air elemental with 2 levels of barbarian.
