What's this about a trust fund anyway, the victim did not have any dependants, nor is he in any urgent need of money (being dead will do this) so what is the justification for paying the family of the deceased.

I agree with Laches - it doesn't really support the "hell in a handbasket" statement.
However, this just shows that what we need are gun control laws. ...Wait a minute! We have them. And we spent a fortune setting them up! In fact, it was over budget (net of fees) by a factor of about 400. And to think that I was in favour of them initially. (note to reepnorp - sorry. I don't want to highjack your thread and turn it into a debate on gun controls, but they just seem to be related to the story in your link.) |

I am questioning the relevance of the charity to the accident. Funeral expenses I can understand but not why other people feel they should pay for them.
