Random Items?

On the second floor of irencius's dungeon, in the room with Khalid's corpse, there is a cabinet that seems to spew out a random magical trinket each time I search it. Last time I searched it I got a scroll of Albidalzims Horrid Wittling, very nice indeed, and this time I got a very rare Wakashashi +1, and there is always some cursed scroll with the nice item. Know of any other random containers such as this one that I can cash out on?

I have never found any random items in the container you talk about.

Yeah, I know that box, it often spawns some rare high level magic scrolls.

I don't think thats happened to me before. I dont know though. I don't usualy pay that much attention to things like that.

Besides what's already been mentioned, there seems to be an air of randomness about the existence of the Mail of the Dead... Sometimes I find it, sometimes I don't.

i find Mail of the dead always.

There are many containers with random treasure. It would took days to write those all down.

If you're interested, I could write down all of possible random treasures you can collect.

I didn't find the mail of the dead when playing on high game levels (harder than core) this could of course just be coincidence

Wow, I just found a scroll of spell trap in the graveyard! Yipee! Also in the De'Arnise hold I found the Death Spell, which is pretty rare as well.
