Ha! My friends, let us gather and celebrate the victory of France in the latest weekend of the Six Nations.

For one moment there, it really seemed like the English were going to have their behind handed to them quite badly, but I guess a pride burst prompted them to put on a good show in the second half, in order not to get humiliated after all.

My favorite team wins, plus I'll make a nice amount of money due to bets. Good day, good day.

Did they lose indeed? I missed it myself, well now I was expecting England to win but I am glad they lost.

Sarevok - well predicted.

Well done France!

All the English people that I have spoken to so far have now said that the 'Six Nations doesn't really matter'.....

Anyway, it was always going to be tough for England with their two best players at the World Cup not there, and with France not playing well so far this year you had a feeling they were due a good game.

Without Jonny's radar boot to guarantee England points, the lack of try-scoring skills that I pointed out at the start of the Six Nations was indeed exposed. It'll be just my luck that Clive will have that aspect of the game all sorted out before the NZ tour later in the year. I think the All Blacks will be a bit ragged this year so it should be a good tour.

Well done to Ireland on winning the triple crown too.

By the way, from Morsmordre's Six Nations thread, I picked England to come 3rd so go me.

Yes very good show indeed by the French team.

I was bracing myself for the shame of a severe butt-kicking at half-time!

When we came out in the second half with a much more physical attitude I thought we might nick it. But nevermind.

French really controlled the ball well and apart from a few wayward passes I can only put down the nerves they pretty much had the better territory and it was only trademark good strong English defending that stopped us conceding more tries!

I was afraid our narrow approach to defending that was so well exploited by Ireland and Wales was really gonna f uck us up here!

A bit galling that we lost due to conceding unnecessary penalties. But at the end of the day we lost to a better team.

Viva le France! (or whatevr it is)

[Edit: On another note, it's a shame the garlic munchers had to win. If theres one country I hate losing to more than Germany it's France. They are gonna be unbearable until we have the chance to stuff 'em again! Arrogant, garlic munching, ungrateful surrender monkeys!

Tassadar will become famous soon enough

You realise how good Martin Johnson is (or was) when he's not playing. He's strong, he's tough, and he's hard, but most importantly he's very smart, and reads the game. In the dying seconds of the World Cup final, he saw Phil Waugh and George Smith raring to bring down Wilkninson, so he said "give me the ball" and ran straight at them, took them out, and this gave Wilko acres of space and time to slot the winning drop goal. England will miss this guy.

Yeah, awesome player. Although we will never be able to replace him we really need to try and find a player with some of his leadership qualities. While Dallagio is obviously a great rugby player, he ain't a leader in the 'Johno' sense .

There was one word for England in that game and it is non-repeatable I'm English and even I have to admit that France were the better team, especially that one with the weird name who scored most of their points A well deserved win for France

Although it was a bitter defeat, we still have a world cup. After that, I don't care too much about a piddly six nations.
