This summer I'll be doing this nice Fantastic Middle Age festival. A sort of a big war between various guild. Not only battle we also live for one week à la, middle age with a clear fantastic (dare I say Tolkien) influence. With a great deal of Politic between guild. Fine blade tournament, Best dancer tounrnament, Scottish melee, feast, A band of ministrels and so on! I know you can be human / elf / dark elf / wood elf/ orc or dwarf (if you got the right size). The only ¨drawback¨ from me is that you can have the cultural influence you want from your custumes. So you'll see Knight, Arabic Warrior, (whatever they are called) Scottish Highlander, japaneese ninja and samurai plus the DnD influence for the other races etc. While Oriental influence are rare, it seem out of place to see a kilt wearing highlander talking to a samurai! Myself I'll be Kenneth Cane splitter! Obviously a Highlander, I already have my kilt ready. So I wondered if anybody have ever done a thing like that.

Oh and in my guild before each battle everybody scream ¨In hoc Draconis!¨ or something like that. It's latin and unfortunately I don't speak Latin. Btw Draconis is the name of the guild

And our sworn enemy's name is ¨Legio Infernas¨ or something like that.

I wondered what does they mean, sorry I'm not too good a recalling latin word. I assume Legio Infernas mean The Legion of Hell but I want to be sure.

Midwinter is on a distinguished road

Well, my Latin's a little rusty, but here goes:

'in hoc' means 'in this', or 'by this'.

'draconis' means 'snake', but you probably already knew that.

I'd guess it's therefore swearing by the guild's name before battle.

'legio' is 'legion' or 'army', while 'infernus' means 'infernal' - so yes, Legion of Hell or Infernal Legion would be correct.
