EasyTutu Review at Sorcererer's Place

Our Brallrock has reviewed EasyTutu by Macready, a stable and easy to install version of the total conversion Tutu, enabling the player to enjoy Baldur's Gate 1 experience in the Baldur's Gate 2 engine, like the basic Tutu, but with an InstallShield installer and some more fixes and add-ons. The review outlines the advantages of the "easy" version, describes the installation process and gameplay, points out a couple of bugs and gives a nice summary in the end. Here's an excerpt:

I don’t know about other people, but I could never make the original Tutu work for me. I tried three times and had no success, so when I saw Macready’s thread about EasyTutu, I just about flipped. Now was my chance to finally try out Tutu. EasyTutu is a WeiDU mod, and uses an installer wizard for those of us that need a “Tutu for Dummies” book. Macready took Baldur’s Gate Tutu made by the guys at http://www.pocketplane.net/,
and spiffed it up with a professional installer, and added a few options and fixes. If you have no idea what Baldur’s Gate Tutu is all about, check out that link. I have no idea if it runs any better than Tutu, because I never could get Tutu to run.
