I have noticed that when I try to edit my characters biography my character appears dead.

Did you cast protection from papercuts before editing. With such few hp in BG1 almost anything can kill you
 Seriously, does the game pause when you edit your bio, I mean were you in a safe place where no enemies could sneak up behind you? |
