Here are today's Neverwinter Nights 2 forum highlights, collected by NWVault. Please take into account that these are only single parts of various threads and should not be taken out of context. Bear in mind also that the posts presented here are copied as-is, and that any bad spelling and grammar does not get corrected on our end.

Anyone know if I can change off the Gith sword?
Is anyone using the special abilities of the sword? They're pretty powerful...

ECL races making to level 20
I'm pretty sure the XP cap is actually set to be high enough to reach 23rd level, but the level cap is set to 20. Non-ECL characters will stop advancing at 20 even though they continue to accrue XP. Drow, tieflings, etc. should be able to reach 20th by gaining more XP.

These are campaign-level settings, so modders/builders can set up different rules if they want to.

What really happened to NWN2 by Bioware
This is no longer NwN2 relagetting spammy so gets closed. But a couple of points first:
    1) Obsidian and Atari chose to keep the forums here due to the large community NwN1 already had created.
    2) BioWare has had Dragon Age (note the lack of an apostrophe s) in developement for many years now.
    3) BioWare chose not to make NwN2 so we could persue our own IP projects like Dragon Age, Jade Empire and Mass Effect.
    4) If you want to discus Dragon Age we have a forum over here for it: Click Here Please keep these boards for discussing NwN2.

Easiest way to do this would be with a dialog. When 2 npc talk to each other, they will go back and forth through the nodes automatically. Kick it off with ActionStartConversation()

    Need help with script
Action and condition scripts (used in conversations) are the only ones that can have parameters in main().
Move those variable declarations into the body.

    Scripted Waypoints
Hey there Deva, glad to see you are still in the NWN Community! I still owe you one for the hotfix you made for me for NPC Activities 4.0 back in the day!

    Scripted Waypoints
BTW, I posted this article over at http://www.nwn2wiki.org/ (search for "scripted waypoints")
I have quite a few other articles waiting in the wings, and this wiki seems like a good place for them. I just hope the site stays up for a good long time...

    Get Number og creatures created?
Check out "ginc_group". You can turn an encounter into a group and once you have a group, you can do all sorts of things (including running a script when they all die).

    Need help with module transition
Scripts cannot have parameters except for action and condition scripts when used in conversations.

    Help with a script please.
First param of CreateItemOnObject() is a ResRef (not a tag).

    Creature Respawn ?
Hard to say for sure w/o seeing the whole script. My first guess is you might not be including the file where CreateObjectVoid() is defined.

    Item Event Scripting
Use the Item Acquire script template.

Problem making script that removes all items from pc and...
Iterating through a list and modifying it at the same time can be a little tricky. There's a bunch of functions related to this in "ginc_item" - these should point you in the right direction.

    BROKEN FUNCTION LIST
Excellent catches Webscav! I'll see if I can get these in for the next patch (but we're in code lock for the patch, so can't guarantee it).

Incidentally my testing suggests IP_CONST_FEAT_* is the correct param for ItemPropertyBonusFeat() (On friday I fixed a crafting recipe that impropely used a FEAT_* constant).

    Database Functionalities
The best source of info for that would be the NWLexicon

    Get Number og creatures created?
You can make each encounter its own group with a unique group name.
