Mind Flayer Lair

Hey...I need a little help here...I'm in the Illithid lair and need to get through one of the doors only opened by one of them. Well, my problem is after I charmed one, another Illithid just ended up killing him and since I was all out of collars, he died too. I've searched high and low and there are no more of the little buggers! Is there ANY other way to get through that door, or rather are there any more Mind Flayers hiding that I have missed? I would rather not reload...

Easiest way? Morph into the Slayer and open the door...

There is one room on the far east end of the Illithid layer where these creatures re-spawn three or four times and you should be able to find one there. However, if you are out of collars, you may be out of luck.

As Tal pointed out, if you are out of collars, then use the slayer ability. I found myself in this exact situation and that is what I did. The game basically tells you to turn into the slayer when you try to open the door.

Thanks for the suggestions... I happen to still have collars left so I'll look for the flayers and if all else fails, slayer form *grin*
