|
Praetorians: Nice graphics, no resources management, you control battalions not single warriors, the "gather all my forces and attack" strategy usually leads to disaster, different types of units for the three sides (Romans, Egyptians and barbarians), you can have access to better units like gladiators or praetorians when you gather enough honor points in the battlefield, the presence of a centurion or a chieftain in the battlefield can be the difference between victory and defeat.

IMO, don't bother with Praetorians.
Get Medieval: Total War instead. The epitomy of strategy games. |
