Why can't I stop playing this game?

It has been over a year since I have played BG/BG2 and I am wondering what has changed with reference to mods.

I am looking for stable balanced mods that work together and also something new.

The last time I played I used the mega install which was interesting but complete over the top ( 9th lvl single player god that could kill everything going). I did not even make it to BG2 since my character was max out and I could not see the point in continuing.

There is a lot of old posts dealing with this but is there anything new/recommended out there?

After a year of not playing this epic the withdraw symptoms have finally kicked in.

If your up to something difficult/challenging I whole heartedly recommend Improved Anvil - It's quite tough but it really offers a new experience. Scroll down the ToB page or do a search for "mods" as the thread title and you'll literally get heaps of very new responses.
