    As I wrote on FB, Silvery has pointed out that having a page for SP on Facebook would be a good idea, and really, why not? So there it is!

    We'll be happy to read any Wall comments, suggestions or shouts from our friends. You can befriend the SP community on FB by signing up as a fan, so if you like SP, please do!

    I'm also looking into adding any worthwhile apps to the page, but many of the more obvious ones are apparently only available for personal pages. If anyone has any suggestions, please post them!

    Well, being basically clueless (as usual), I'll ask how joining SP's FB page would be any different from just being a member here? (I know generally what FB is all about, but I've never really seen the point.)

    It's basically about spreading the word further... Facebook's primary purpose is social networking so this is just another way to connect people interested in SP in one way or another and hopefully also expose SP to some new folks who don't know about it yet. The SP page on FB isn't something you'd join Facebook for, but rather a page you'd join if you already had a FB account. It's as easy as adding a friend on FB (all it takes is a click).

    Of course, joining up for the sake of SP could compel you to make further use of Facebook as well, like looking up (old) friends and acquaintances. ;)

    Facebook has made itself available for business/product/community promotion some time ago, so pretty much everyone AND everything is on there now. We're actually late to the party. ;)

    As I said to Tal, It's free advertising for SP. We get more fresh blood!! It might also lead to some new members getting SPS accounts which is always a good thing because it means SP can continue improving. I've joined a few gaming groups on FB in the past and mentioned SP, a lot of people didn't know about it

    Not a great fan of Facebook myself.

    I did take a look. Is it only for Danish that the software is translated horribly? It looks like partial strings were translated out of context and nobody ever checked the translations at runtime, leading to numerous mistranslations and cases of "funny Danish".
