[IMG]We've already got quite a few ways through which you can help support Sorcerer's Place at no additional cost to yourself, but this latest one is particularly cool, if I do say so myself.

We have recently teamed up with GOG.com, a website selling a plethora of good old games (with more being added regularly!) really cheap, with absolutely no annoying DRM protection.

With the Fallout promotion concluded a while ago, Sorcerer's Place has now entered in full affiliation with GOG, which means that their entire catalogue of games is eligible for Sorcerer's Place affiliate sales. In short, any game(s) you buy from GOG via a link or any of the SP GOG buttons (there's one on top of the forums, as well as the site) will bring Sorcerer's Place a small commission, which will help us with the site's operating costs. This costs you absolutely nothing extra - all you need to do is click a GOG link or button, create a new GOG account* and buy any of their games(s) in the next 12 months.

Sorcerer's Place thanks you in advance for supporting us via GOG!

*Yes, the affiliate program is unfortunately for new GOG accounts only, so those of you who have previously bought from GOG are unable to support Sorcerer's Place this way unless you create a new account.

A very worthwhile affiliation if I do say so myself. :)

Is there a reason for this? Perhaps they would be willing to change their policy? I have had a GOG account for some time now, so if I purchased any games using it they would obviously not go towards supporting SP. :(

Well I'm sure the reason is that it benefits them more like that. :shake: They wouldn't have made it like that if they didn't want to enforce it... I fully agree that it sucks though, but affiliations are always take it or leave it deals.
