You are the top as long as nobody else post in here, which is highly unlikely. Ironically enough I used a RPB post too prove the RPB won't go unnoticed. I cannot see RPB ever being unpopular in the foreseeable future, though as life is unpredictable by nature, I won't make an absolute statement.

I will say however that if the past 6 years has told me anything is that RPB is always popular. Wonder why? Perhaps it's the fact we can write about anything that crosses our mind. Or maybe the inherent anonymity of the internet causes us to write messages we wouldn't normally do in a "normal" social context. The chances of a BOM-wide gathering are slim at best, so we can be continue to act and write whatever the hell we want without the fear of awkward situations. Or maybe it's just that RPB is really fun to read. Who knows?

If you watch who posts regularly in the RBP the answer is probably because, by the time the heavy posters of (say) 2005 stop posting frequently (for whatever reason) there's already the new generation ready to start posting frequently, and so the heavy posters of 2006 are born. And then there's the constant low-frequency posters like yours truly to add a bit more flavour, and you've got the immortal RBP thread that will live on forever, through rain, fire, hail, snow, and new games to play!

I would be a bit jealous of The Magister's weekends, except that I'm in the middle of my Easter break. Plus, if I'm being honest, weekends at Uni start on Saturday and tend to finish between 1 and 3 days later depending on whether I can talk myself into getting up for maths. So it ain't all that bad at all.

Happy Easter everyone

I now, finally, can eat chocolate again after I vowed to eat none between Ash Wednesday and Easter Sunday. Which, considering that I like chocolate a lot, is a sacrifice. An unintentional transgression aside (I ate 'cherry pie', which turned out to include chocolate), I stuck to it.

As for eating, we'll have a haunch of lamb for dinner today - feasting after fasting.

I can't wait for April 23rd, Ubuntu's next major release, version 9.04! I heard they fixed the bug which makes it almost impossible to properly use multi-screens with an integrated Intel GMA video card. Plus a revamped interface is cool, though not necessary. Maybe that makes me a total geek, but I actually like installing a new OS, and then tweaking it until I'm satisfied. -- can't wait
