Where to find Ployer?

I'm stuck. Baron Ployer has cursed Jaheira and I do not know where can I find him. Jaheira is getting weaker and weaker. Where is Ployer hidding?

Now to the point of the post- I will try to say this as politely as I can - I don't know what's with you guys but is it so hard to keep Jaheira out of that inn (or whatever that is)? OK I actually have no idea where that baron is now that you're cursed I just wanted to say what I had on my mind for some time.

Hey, Keneth, go easy on him. How could he know one of Jaheira's enemies is down there? He probably just stumbled down there by an accident.

Now, Teo, if you have already read from the other topic, Baron Ployer can be found in the Slums district, in his house. It is next to the Slaver Ship, IIRC.

Jaheira also gives you clues. Like talk to Bernard (bartender at CC), and check out Gov. District building to enquire about green and black robed mages. The place where Ployer is is the house next to the slavers "ship/building" on the opposite side of that guy you have to collect the money for to get help finding Imoen (the guy who keeps saying "Coo").

IIRC if you plan on romancing Jaheira, you will need to sooner or later go to that inn. Also if you are doing the errands for Renal Bloodscalp, your contact is in that same inn.

One option would be to drop Jaheira before going into the inn, thereby preventing the curse from occurring (unless you accidentally enter the inn again at a later time). This could jeopardize the romance, though.

I do not believe that Jaheira gets "weaker and weaker" if it takes a while to remove the curse, though she will continue to complain.

If you opt to pay the mages Ployer hired to not show up, there are some interesting dialogue options (not to mention outcomes). Or rather, I found them amusing.

You don't have to 'drop' Jaheira. All you have to do is select all but her, or just one person to go in. You can leave some outside while you go in there.

Did anyone stand along the back wall and find the secret there?

It is a party required area so you would have to kick Jaheira out, though, if you go into the upstairs entrance you can leave jaheira upstairs and the other five can go downstairs

She doesn't. She does suffer stat penalties when she first gets inflicted though, so you're going to want to cure the curse ASAP. I think it will kill her (no chance of resurrection) after a while.

The quest does give good xp, and it is pretty humourous whenever you're talking to Ployer (especially if you got the mages to help you pound him), so I don't see the point of not doing the quest.

When i play a thief, I have to go into that tavern early. Most of the time I don't want to do the PLOYER quest just then. I just select my character (leaving the rest outside) and go in alone. You can do it. If you doubt me, then save just before trying it.

Geeze, I hope its not some sort of bug on my computer, but every time I've tried it, it works. And this is about the 6th time I have reinstalled the game on my computer.

That's the first time I heard about that, though the dialogue w/ Ployer would lead you to believe that it would kill her. Might be worth checking out.

It's also pretty humorous if you just pay the mages not to show up.

Even when I did not have ToB and with all patches or without them that was NOT a party required area. Am I missing something here?

Yes you're missing something: a forum.

ToB problems or differences please post in ToB forum. This forum is only for players without ToB installed regardless the part of the game you're referring to.
ToB is not SoA patch and it changed some things in SoA that people without ToB don't need to bother with. ToB issues are the reason why that other forum exists.
