Here are today's Neverwinter Nights 2 forum highlights, collected by NWVault. Please take into account that these are only single parts of various threads and should not be taken out of context. Bear in mind also that the posts presented here are copied as-is, and that any bad spelling and grammar does not get corrected on our end.
Matthew Rorie, Obsidian Marketing/PR Producer How many times? I think I have played the OC and MOTB three times apiece. Once for the walkthroughs I wrote for GameSpot, and then a couple times each after that with different characters. I think I only played SOZ front to back once, but I played it piecemeal during development multiple times, so I'm not sure how to count that one. How many times? I only play story based games once. Then uninstall them and move on. That applies to NWN2. I only play each OC/expansion once. I do however play SP modules from the vault, once each of course, which is why NWN2 will not get uninstalled once I finish SoZ and MoW. The way I see it, no story is ever good enough to be replayed over a story I have yet to play. And there are always more stories to be played, since the world produces them faster than I can consume them. That is not limited to NWN2 or even games in general, it applies to everything I am into (movies, TV, books, comic books, etc.) That's an interesting philosophy to take, especially in the case of movies and other short media. I can see not wanting to play through an 80-hour RPG twice, but there are plenty of movies and books out there that I have only really enjoyed after watching or reading them two or three times. Not that I'm disagreeing with you. Personally I have a hard time finding authors that I enjoy reading (I'm super picky), so I stick with my faves and re-read their books for the most part. Summoner PCs now possible That is definitely cool. What's interesting is that the mod was just uploaded, but the video on Youtube is a year old? In search of default listbox row names, help request. I'll see if a programmer might know the answer to this...no guarantees I'll get any replies, though. |
