Default Favourite kit for each class?

Just out of interest what's everybody's favourite kit for each class?

For me:

Fighter - Berserker: I like my fighters to be tanks fighting on the front lines so I'm not bothered about the lack of ranged specialization. Although the Enrage ability has its disadvantages there's no need to use it when the situation doesn't suit and when it does suit it can give a much needed edge.

Paladin - Inquisitor: These guys are amazing. Dispel magic at twice the caster's level! Immunity to hold and charm! And True Sight can be handy too. And all you have to give up is some mildly useful abilities.

Ranger - Archer: Give them decent bow and arrows and these guys can shoot down anything. Their inability to specialise in melee weapons or wear metal armour is no big deal as you'll be keeping them towards the back anyway.

Cleric - Priest of Lathander: All the cleric kits are good as they have no disadvantages (though why can't you dual-class to them?) but Lathander's bonuses vs. Undead make it stand out. That'll teach those vampire scum.

Druid - Totemic Druid: Spirit animals make excellent cannon fodder and leave your druid free to cast spells (something shapeshifting doesn't allow).

Thief - Swashbuckler: I never really backstab so I don't mind losing the multiplier. It's worth it for their excellent combat bonuses without any loss to thief points.

Bard - Skald: Their bard song is excellent and they get some nice combat bonuses. Only disadvantage is the much weaker pick-pocket's skill but how often do you use pick pockets anyway?

Mage - Conjurer: Divination spells aren't that great. And the only requirement is 16 CON which you pretty much will want to give to your mages anyway.

For fighters its got to be Kensai.

Best fighter kit to dual class (also damn good to multi-class if you don't consider it cheating) since the second class can completely cover their weaknesses.

With the right buffs and magic items they're just as strong single class.

Strongest class in a straight battle with melee weapons and arguably the strongest class in ranged combat if you can get the firetooth dagger.

Berserkers are nice but their signature ability can be replicated quite easily by a protection from magic scroll/decent saves/good resistances.

I suppose Kensais do have better bonuses and are more versatile but as I said I like my fighter to be a tank and the Kensai's inability to wear armour diminishes them a bit in this respect.

Fighter - Kensai.

Paladin - Inquisitor.

Ranger - I'm not a fan of Rangers.

Cleric - Priest of Lathander.

Druid - I'm not a fan of Druids.

Thief - Toss-up between Assassin or Swashbuckler; depends on whether I want to backstab (never in a party of 4 or more) or not.

Bard - Blade

Mage - Conjurer

Fighter - Kensai.

Paladin - Cavalier.

Ranger - Stalker.

Cleric - Not really picky about this one.

Druid - Shapeshifter.

Thief - All the kits are great, but I usually multiclass.

Bard - Jester, for the hell of it. Skald is excellent for an SoA only game, but kind of a waste with ToB installed.

Mage - I prefer not to specialize, although Illusionist isn't bad.

Fighter - Kensai. The other kits aren't so bad, but I like the concept of the Kensai better.

Paladin - None in particular. Not too fond of the class.

Ranger - Beastmaster or Archer, depends on mood. Stalker's great, not my idea of a PC character kit though. Probably because I take Valygar from time to time.

Cleric - Priest of Helm. I like their abilities better.

Druid - Totemic Druid. I like summoners.

Thief - Tie between Assassin and Bounty Hunter. I just think these are more interesting, but the Swashbuckler is pretty powerful.

Bard - Blade, Jester, Skald. I like the Blade just a bit more.

Mage - Wild Mage. Luck and chance-type characters are my other favorites, besides summoners and versatile characters.

Fighter - Beserker. No ranged weapons is very small compared to no armour or no magic items. Don't think the other kit benefits are all that interesting.

Paladin - Inquisitor. I NEVER play with paladins at all but this has more interesting-looking abilities.

Ranger - Archer. Beast master is just ****, Stalker is kind of interesting but why the completely random mage spells that aren't overly useful? Anyways, I use demihumans so Fighter/Thief outclasses Stalker. Archer makes ranged combat good again.

Cleric - Stormlord of Talos. Clerics are boring. Lightning helps. Not much, but a bit.

Druid - Avenger. I kind of think that all druids should get the avenger spell-list but, since that's not "vanilla" and this is probably a vanilla discussion...anyway, they're really good so avenger by miles. Totemic druid gives summons that quickly become useless, shapeshifter is way weak.

Thief - Swashbuckler. ONLY because I think invisibility potion - backstab - potion - backstab is totally lame and therefore can't really say assassin, however, I find thieves unfortunately lame in this game so I don't care which.

Bard - I think someone wandering around singing while people fight is the lamest possible idea ever and I therefore treat bards as just "jack-of-all-trade" adventurers, but that cuts out jester and skald since their whole point is their song. Therefore, with no enthusiasm, Blade.

Mage - Sorcerer. Innate power over reading books all the time? Win.

Honestly, I only play as an Assassin. So that

I am going to try being an Archer or some sort of Druid next time though, I think.

Fighter

-> Hard choice I don't like Kensai but I like the other kits. Probably Berserker (probably dual classing to Druid later on) though a dual wielding Wizard Slayer is a fantastic... mage killer.

Paladin

-> Undead Hunter. Very convenient, plenty of undead creatures to kill. Pick a female character.

Ranger

-> Always wanted to play a Beastmaster /Cleric. Stalkers are fun, go Valygar!

Cleric

-> Not a big fan of single class clerics. Helm if I had to choose.

Druid

-> Same point. Avenger for fun.

Thief

-> Hard to choose between Assassin and Swashbuckler. I'd pick the first is going for a single class character and the second if I plan on dual classing as a Cleric or Mage.

Bard

-> I used to love Blades but I've got a new found respect for Jesters, definitely the most underrated kit in the game.

Mage

-> This is ToB so Wild Mage. No other spellcaster even comes close to the sheer power that a Wild Mage wields. Besides wild magic is fun.

Fighter: The Berserker as well. Except if I'm planning on dualling to a mage, in which case I might choose a Kensai.

Paladin: I think I'll pick the Undead Hunter for the bonuses against undead. OK, he can't use Lay on Hands, but you should have a Cleric or Druid to do your healing anyway!

Ranger: Here I choose the Stalker. An extra scout and backstabber won't hurt. Well, won't hurt you.

Cleric: Once more for the bonuses against undead, I pick the Priest of Lathander.

Druid: The Totemic Druid, or a standard Druid. The penalties aren't worth it for Avengers and Shapeshifters.

Thief: Actually I prefer the standard Thief. If I play a Thief, I usually dual or multi class; I never really feel that I need a single-class Thief on the team.

Bard: Jester! Bard song that confuses the opponents just fits my own chaotic nature.

Mage: A hard choice but I'd say a Wild Mage or an Illusionist.

Paladin: Undead Hunter (agree w Montresor a bit)

Fighter: Wizard Slayer (I get a kick out of jamming up really powerful foes' spell-casting, for the wtf value one can also dual-class one into a mage)

Thief: Bounty Hunter (a Yoshimo you can keep around)

Bard: Jesters (though I've grown to appreciate the generic Bard)

Druid: Hmm.... really undecided, lean to Avenger but I think the Totemic can be appreciated more.

Cleric: Cleric of Lathander

Ranger: Archer (a real change in style of play for me, plus the tricks one can do)

Mage: Wild Mage

Fighter: Berserker (I don't like dualclassing, and berserkers are significantly better than kensais in single class)
Paladin: Inquisitor (the dispel is crazy good).
Thief: Swashie (The only thief skill I find useful is pickpocket... so this is basically a fighter with pickpocket)
Bard: Blade (The spins are great)
Druid: Avenger (Some of the spells you gain are very useful)
Cleric: Lathander (Boon of Lathander is the most useful of the special abilities of Clerics, IMO)
Ranger: Archer (Very very very powerful)
Mage: Wild Mage (Most powerful mage so I chose it by default, though I don't like mages)

I don't really have favourites, but the ones I play most often tend to be:
Fighter: Beserker
Mage: Necromancer or Sorcerer, Wild Mages are fun, but I play them sparingly
Paladin: Cavalier
Druid: Avenger
Thief: Usually just the plain class.
Bard: Hmm, not sure what I prefer in all honesty, I'll say plain for now.
Cleric: Plain Cleric, I don't usually end up wirshipping the other gods
Ranger: Archer I tend to play

Fighter: Berseker, for the flavor and the bonuses. I plain like it and as others have said it, ranged weapon specialty isn't a big loss.

Ranger: Archer, hands down. Real change of play style for me and he can be pretty powerful. Not from the start, when two backstabs kill you(Renal Bloodscalp, how I loath thee!), but later on, he can kill dragons singlehandedly.

Paladin: Cavalier, the only class I soloed SoA and a better part of ToB with. While I consider Inquisitors better in term of raw power, these guys take the crown when it comes to fun.

Bard: Skald, because I like the traditional bards and these guys fit the stereotype of it closest.

Thief: the only kit I played so far was Bounty Hunter, so I guess that would be my answer. I really need to try Assassin one of these days.

Cleric: never played one.

Druid: the same.

Mage: Wild Mage. While I'm not big fan of chaos, these guys are just plain fun to play!
