Dead golem in the way

I finally got to the part when I could confront the "Caged Fury"...I moved the mirror so it was pointing west and there's a dead crystal or ice golem in the way of the path the lightning bolt should be taking. I'm stuck! What do I do now? Thanks!

Hmmm... Never heard of this before. Try this... rest your party. Perhaps even hike back to Oswald Fiddlebender and rest a bit. Dead bodies tend to disappear after a while, and if it does in this case, it should solve your problem.

Now when I fire the bolt north, it doesn't even appear to get as far as the mirror I turned. It IS the "EMBRACE THE SHADOW" etched door I am trying to get into, right? That's the only area I haven't been able to get into. Thanks!

That's strange. Hmmm....

Are you inside that room yet? I'm sort of assuming you are since you see the "embrace the shadow" message.

Well, it IS the door unlocker here as well. The trick here is to realize that you need to open the previous door blocking the lightning bolt's path by doing something else first.

But yes, not very intuitive.
