Those who play DDO (and particularly those who often shudder at the thought of spending money on your character upgrades) will be glad to hear that Turbine have launched a referral program for its existing members. We'll let Turbine do the talking:

Starting today, players who refer friends to start playing DDO via the DDO Referral Program will be eligible to earn points every time their referred friends buy Turbine Points in the DDO Store! The referral program site makes it easy to invite your friends. In fact, every player gets a custom referral link that can be sent to friends via e-mail, web, or social networks. We even have a new Facebook App that makes it super-easy to send invites to your friends to start playing in DDO.

Once you’ve invited a pal to join you in the dungeons of Eberron, they’ll get a link to our regular signup page where they can create a game account. As long as your friend creates the account directly from the DDO Referral Program link, your accounts will be permanently connected.
