By the way, this is the best thing BOM has done in the last few years. I use it loads, though I seem to be the only one! Guys, if you have a smartphone you should use this app. It's so much better than accessing BOM through a mobile browser.

I'm guessing few people are willing to pay for the app. I know I'm not. If it was free and ad supported I would probably give it a shot.

It is free. Or it used to be. It was when I got it on Android ages ago, I'm sure.

I thought it was free? Not that it would matter for me since it is not supported on the smartphones that I have nor do I have any use for it. BoM is somewhat quiet nowadays anyway.

It's an external app and I have no control over pricing (nor does SP get any revenue from its sales), but it's the cheapest that these types of apps come. And since Tapatalk is used by thousands of forums, it's very likely that you'll be able to use it for other forums too, not just BoM. A dedicated mobile addon for vB does exist, but IIRC it costs $200 and with so few mobile users we'd never be able to cover that, even if we charged people $10 or more for access.

For this forum, definitely, as it doesn't have a mobile version.
