Was the enchanting system in MotB broken?

For me, maybe ... Hitting opponents with a weapon that can do 15d6 points worth of elemental damage from three different sources is admittedly pretty fun. Then again, it does make fights go much easier.

Yes, especially since warrior-types have the upper hand in MotB. Playing caster against things like a vampire monks (high SR/high saves/Improved Evasion) can be a pain, especially if you don't start MotB at level 20.
