Was it a case of a soldier getting trigger happy? Maybe ... maybe not, since the soldier was cleared of misconduct.

Was it a case of a reporter living up to the stereotype of a journalist willing to do anything to get a story?

Bloody Yanks! Seriously, why can't they actually hit the enemy. There's no end to these kinds of things! Americans should not be allowed anywhere near guns, fact.

I'm guessing the BBC reporter will either win a pulitzer or a darwin award. I will never understand the idiocy of the press that want to imbed with the enemy. Then they act all surprised when they come under fire. At least when you imbed with your own troops they may have a vested interest in keeping you alive.

Right Barmy ... the Royal Army and Navy have never done anything like this ... not ever....

It's a damn war zone. People die in war zones. Even reporters. Although I think this was a conspiracy to get back at the media hype over the Royal wedding.
