Yes but you need the official patches (or you'll get the "NPC is busy" and character stuttering bugs). For mods, see above.

Last part was only for BG1.

i play it modded and updated on my vista without any hitches so far.
this is BGtutu, although i'm still only in Baldur's Gare, i think it will hold up in SOA as well.
