    [​IMG]IGN has a new preview for Pillars of Eternity, and posted a new video with spoilers.

    When Obsidian developers Josh Sawyer and Brandon Adler ask to drop by the IGN office, you make time to see what they're up to. The creators of such classics RPGs as Planescape: Torment and Icewind Dale (and more recently, South Park: The Stick of Truth) have a resumé littered with memorable role-playing games that all feature impressive depth, breadth, and overall variety. Their latest is Pillars of Eternity, and if it fulfills its promises, it's sure to keep me in the world of Eora for a long time to come.​

    It would be kind of cool if Obsidian would mix these demos up a little, rather than playing a male barbarian human over and over. Do that in one demo, but then play a Dwarven Ranger in the next one. So that after 10 of these demos have been shared publicly, there's a bit more variation from one to the next.

    I'm guessing that the reason they are only showing male barbarians and male death godlike is because those are the only combos that they felt were 100% ready to share in the demo.

    Oh well, August 18 will be here soon enough, and I'll be able to click on each and every option for myself.
