[IMG]The next Kickstarter update for Hard West has a lengthy preview from the Art Director.

Allegedly users prefer longer pieces for weekends. So here's a lengthy article in which Remik Nowakowski, CFG Art Director, describes the grand idea. So, without further ado...

Undoubtedly, there are many well done, western-themed games, movies and TV series. No, we haven't seen them all but, we have seen quite a few. The opportunity to work on the 'Call of Juarez' series was a chance to observe and learn pipelines, workflows as well as the potential problems of developers who are not American and struggle with their vision of "what Wild West should look like". This is exactly what we wanted to avoid at CreativeForge Games.

I remember one of my university teachers (born in the USA although teaching down here, in Poland), saying that in his opinion, 'Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman' was one of the best stories set in the Wild West because it explained in detail what everyday life was like back in the day. Even though I wasn't a big fan of the show, I had to agree, as it happened to be the most reliable source of information I could find at the time.
