I am just getting a turtle beach santa cruz sound card/sonicfury and I am told that the card may have some sound problems with baldur's gate ganes. I have all the BG games and love them.
Can those of you tell me how you got around this problem. I am told it muddles the sound but you can work around it? |

If you really want to play games, I think a Soundblaster card is the best you can get. It'll work with everything.

"Soundblaster card is the best you can get"
*whew* ( ... ) So, anyway, the vast majority of it has to do with drivers. The Santa Cruz is a good card, but they didn't buy all the licenses. If you're not completely locked into the deal, the Acoustic Edge is another good card. The Game Theater is too, but you pay out the Wazoo for it... |
