disappearance of Yoshimo

I dualled my main character into a mage and I kicked out all my party members to get the xp from learning spells to myself only. everyone else seems to be where i told them to wait, but the problem is that even though i told him to wait in the coronet, yoshimo just isn't there (and i searched through all the place).

can anyone give me any advice or explain what's the problem? i'd really like to get him back...

I have experienced this exact same problem. In my games he was gone forever I don't know what causes this but my solution has been, whenever I kick yoshimo out I leave the map where he is then immediately return to wher he is , talk to him, and when he ask to rejoin me I tell him I don'tneed him right now. After that he stays put. Welcom to the boards! Hope you stay around

Yoshimo is not meant to stay in your party throughout the game. If you keep him in your party until spellhold, you will fight him and have to kill him.

So the reason he is not at Cooper Coronet anymore is that you went to Spellhold without him, and since he is destined to die there, he just disapears from the game instead.

nah, didn't even get to spellhold yet actually... so it's still weird. but thanks anyways. guess i'll have to settle with jan instead...

You probably lost him for good this game but next game follow my advice above and he will stay put. That way you can take him to Spellhold with you, he is 200,000 experience points you don't want to miss

This is not true. When you return from Spellhold and you walk in to the Cooper Coronet you can watch him die. He doesn't just disapear from the game.
