Pickpocketing?

What is the best way to pickpocket? Is there something I should make sure I do? Who are the best targets? Thanks!

As a rule of thumb - try to keep your pickpocketing ability as high as possible - I actually preferred abilities from 150 to about 200 to minimize risk - I wasn't too keen to battle my way through an all hostile Waukeen's promenade ...

Pickpocket Ribald Barteman in the Adventurer's Mart. You could even buy a few of his potions of thievery before doing the deal.

There are a pair of gloves of pickpocketing laying around in the rooms in the back of Copper Coronet, where you can buy nightly entertainment.

I usually go for 200 in pickpocketing. Never sure how much over the edge that is. One thing I know is when my pcikpocketing exceeded 270 with potions and stuff, My thief actually got worse at pickpocketing.

Drink a couple Potions of Master Theivery before going on a pickpocket/stealing spree.

Two of the best people to pickpocket are Ribald in the Adventurer's Mart and Tolgeiras(sp?) in the Govt Building

The Amnish guard and nobles can give off up to level 6 or 7 scrolls, and the Djinni named Taquee standing outside of the Dao Djinni tent has a little something for you to take.

(but it has to be before the completion of the Trademeet tent.
