1) Where is the Company of Eight?

2) Does it ONLY need SoA or is it Competitable with SoA and ToB?

As you can see the thread was started at the 4th of March and is (yet) on the bottom of the BG2-forumdisplay. Have you checked it already

I think any group with more than 6 characters in it is getting pretty cheap.

I don't know if this on on toic or not...but IIRC years ago....when they firststarted creating the original Baulders Gate, I think I reacall a discussion thread on their message board to the effect that the game was origionally set up so that additional non-player controlled NPC could join your party...hence the space for 2 additional character portraits. I've never heard of the "company of Eight" before...but does it utilise this additional space?

No, of course not. There is no "hidden space for 2 more". The engine is hard coded to 6 characters max. More can join your party, but they won't show up as characters with their own portrait and place in the party.

Dreadmaster, where is the Company of Eight then? I mean, I installed the add on, but I haven't found them yet (not looking hard either tho)
