How to beat Saverok with a mage?

Saverok is resistant to magic isn't he? So what spells can a magic-user ie. Majikus (my mage) use to give Saverok a hard time? It really pisses me off cos you go watch Gorian kick Saverok's ass with magic missiles etc. And when i have a go it does nothing! What can i do to give him a world of hurt with magic? ;(

Practically none. Sarevok is more or less immune to all types of magic so your mage can do little or no harm to him. Have your mages do some harm to Sarevok's buddies and leave Sarevok himself for your fighters to chop.

Guess that works...oh by the way i just draw Saverok to me and leave his other faithful minions...Guess they are afraid of my band of merry men...they never follow...and those damn Skeleton Warriors are right killers especially with those god damn bows! Anyway my party consists of:

Majikus (Mage)
Minsc (Ranger)
Imoen (Thief)
Yeslick (Cleric/Fighter)
That Paladin bloke at the Farm (forgot his name)
The cleric trapped in stone

I never use Jahiera/Khalid as i just don't like them...Khalid is a wuss and Jahiera is always bickering...

Oh yeah...I've just found that Ankheg armor in Nashkal yeah yeah it took me ages but its damn hard to find!

Where are all the 4th level spells especially the cloud kill one...i just can't find it in that Sundries place in Baldurs Gate...coming to think about it what are all the 4th level spells available in BG?

Cloudkill is a level 5 spell, and I believe that you take a big part of Sarevoks MR down with a simple Dispel Magic

Monster Summoning, have monsters everywhere to bash everything and kill it all to a pulp and smash stuff and blow it all up. Memorise
as many monster summoning spells as you can, and use the wands, and animate the dead, just overflow the room with monsters.
