I have only had the scale for a week but like it very much. My old scale would only go in 1 pound incraments this new scale goes in .2 pound incraments. Much better scale to know if you are loosing weight or not. Great product and attractive scale

My wife and I are closely monitoring our weight due to our doctors' recommendation to lose weight for our health's sake. We did a lot of research and decided on the EatSmart Digital Scale and purchased it through Amazon. The scale is very well made, well lit, easy to read, and appears very accurate. We can monitor our progress on a regular basis and find the scale very consistent in it's readings. I especially like the design and compactness. It is sturdily made and feels secure when you use it. The price can't be beat for this quality of product and the accuracy it provides. We are very pleased with the scale and with the seller through Amazon!
A Great Scale at Last March 16, 2010

I bought a "Health-0-Meter" several years ago because it was digital and had good ratings. I did not like it because the readings were not consistent, even within a few seconds of each other. And the difference could be plus or minus 5# or more. With fear and trepidation I bought this EatSmart because of ITS good reviews.
First off: the shipping was quick via US Mail. I fight with the UPS man to get my packages actually to ME and not a neighbor, so USPS was a nice surprise.
The EarSmart scale sits in one place in the bathroom and cranks out consistent readings. I am very IMPRESSED. It is so consistent that I am having fun weighing packages for shipment with it by first weighing me and then getting back on with the package. Works great. The bright blue back lit screen lights up my bathroom at night. I can weight myself and then eat dinner and see how much I gained just due to food. Other games like that. I am very pleased.
The only downside is that being clear it shows up the dust bunnies that hide under it thinking they are safe from the broom.

I was intrigued by some other scales with more bells and whistles, but I ordered this one because I wanted an accurate scale. This scale had a thousand reviews with good ratings. Some of the other scales that measured body fat or similar had too few reviews and too high of a percentage of unhappy customers in those reviews.
This is a sleek looking scale and accurate to a tenth of a pound. 3 AAA batteries and we were in business. I recommend it for a simple digital bathroom scale.
