Does anybody know a place where I can download the old 1st edition rulebooks such as the Master, Companion guides. It must of been about 15 years since I have seen these - The 1st edition rules would seem almost impossible to play under but the nostalgia of seing them again would be good.

Downloading them would be illegal. Not to mention pointless, because you can get hundreds used off Amazon for next to nothing.

Or you could try one of the online auction sites like, for example, eBay.

When I want some 'new' 2ed AD&D stuff I usually have no trouble finding it online for a reasonable price. Most of the time the shipping is more expensive than the item itself.

I think there are sites where you can legally pay for and download OD&D materials. Do a google search for "D&D rules cyclopedia" and you'll find a site that allows you to download it for $5...
