    Hello!

Now, I want to play Shadows of Amn (with ToB installed) with my friend in Canada (I, myself, am in Sweden). What kind of connection should we choose? When we try TCP/IP, I get a connection failed when trying to connect to her session.

We have shut down fire walls, but is there something we're missing? Or should we even choose another connection type?

I'm desperate here. Why can't things just work?

    Thank you in advance.

    -Dennis

EDIT: After hours of trying to make GameSpy Arcade work, we thought that would solve it, only to see it does the exact same thing as when you try to connect manually. Crappy GameSpy.

    TCP/IP is the right connection.
But make sure the firewalls are off, make sure you have the same versions of the game installed. And make sure it's the right IP adress :)

Sorry if this is very late - but little things also matter when trying to connect, ie: make sure you have the same rate (go to configuration, and the same section that let's you choose your cache, I forget the name, but it's "Something Rate" and make sure it's the same for u both, (default is 30)).
