It appears the Pain Clinic local to me has exceptional standards for allowing in the riff raff. I made an appointment in November for February (There are waiting lists for these exclusive clinics beyond reasonable) and it appears yesterday they sent a letter to inform me that I do not meet their criteria!

I'm sorry, but a clinic set up to deal with LONG TERM PAIN MANAGEMENT is rejecting someone who has had painful dislocations since she was nine months old and been on prescription pain medication since she was seven?! Fifteen years of various cocktails should count as long term pain and the number of changes I've had to have made over the years and the worsening of my condition surely means I need help with the management of it!

I'm tired of trying to understand why nobody wants to help me round here. I have found one doctor who has been helpful and had nothing but hassle from every other health professional I've encountered... even the receptionists. Why can't they understand I need help?
