I could use some advice or help

    Hi. I am currently facing a rather annoying problem with IWD. I have HoW installed, and it is patched up to 1.42. Ok, I beat the original campaign and my characters were exported rigt as I entered the room with Behlifet, as it usually does. Now when I try to start the HoW campaign using the exported characters from my original campaign, I am immediately brought to Dragons Eye with around 5th level characters. My characters that were exported were around 10 or 11. Ok, now that is annoying, but that isn't the worst problem. When ever I load a game, I am brought to that same spot in dragons eye, same characters. This spot I'm taken to isn't even a current save game. It is mind bogling how this is occuring. Anything input, help or advice would be greatly appreciated. I wanted to continue on to complete the HoW expansion, but can't for now. Thanks.

    It appears to be linking all your saves to one file. How bizzare.

    Delete the temporary files in the cache folder and try again. If this doesn't help you can also try if deleting savegames works, but I recommend doing the following:

    Backup your character files into another folder, uninstall IWD, delete the rest of the IWD folder manually, reinstall IWD from scratch and copy the character files back.
