Nether Scroll troubles

    I recently went into the lower tombs (with Edwin in my party), looted the place, etc. But unfortunately, when I reached the lich, Edwin was either dead or ´out of range´. Regardless, not knowing this supposed to trigger the Nether Scroll quest, I talked with him, and did not fight him. After looting the rest of the tomb, I wondered why I had not found the scroll, looked it up in a guide, and found out that I was supposed to get it from the lich. Unfortunately, I do not have any saves that are shortly before encountering the lich. What I'd like to know is wether I will still get the trigger now, if I bring Edwin to the lich, and if not, is there any way I can set the lich back to it's original status, so I can redo the conversation...

    I've never done any sort of game modifying before, so I'd appreciate it if someone could give me detailed instructions, should that be necessary. I've played the game a few times, but never had Edwin in the party for long, and I really want to experience this quest.

    All help much appreciated.

    Depending on what dialog options you picked, you may or may not have had only five minutes before the lich disappeared. So head back there with Edwin, and if he isn't there anymore, you can reset his appearance with this code:
