    All right. Here goes nothing.

This is my first attempt at blogging. I'll probably only use this blog to post reviews of books I read for the annual Pajiba Cannonball Read, but you'll never know.

What is the Pajiba Cannonball Read, you ask? Well, Pajiba.com is a nice little site run by pop-culture aficionados. It's motto is "Scathing Reviews. Bi*chy People." You might not want to let your kids read the entries. At least not if you don't want them to enhance their vocabulary of swear words. Or know about the human centipede. (Don't ask.)

In other words: The site might be NSFW for some people.

So don't complain about that I didn't warn you.

The Cannonball Read goes into it's second installment this year. Last year's challenge was to read and review 100 books within a year. This year, you "only" have to read 52 books.

I decided that this is do-able, so I signed up. I don't know if I'll make it, but I'll sure as hell try. I occasionally write books reviews for another Internet portal anyway, so I might as well do a few more. *cough*

I'll turn off the comments for now, so if you absolutely have to contact me (to shower me with praise, or with insults), sign up and use the private message system.
