[IMG] I decided to finish up my multiplayer game so I could start IA, but it turns out I'm permanently silenced when loading the game. Resting for weeks, dispelling etc. I'm a kensai, so I can't use scrolls of Vocalize, and Heal didn't do anything. Greater restoration has no effect. By the way, it says "target creature", but it still targets my entire party. I can't manage to give myself an innate Vocalize, in SK it ends up in wizard spells, and I can't see any <innate> vocalize, only <wizard> vocalize. I can't talk to anyone with my protaginst, and only he can talk to certain npcs, like cespenar. Anyone know how to fix this?

I don't know if Vocalize can fix this, but you can cast it from a scroll by quaffing a potion from your inventory (not quick slots) and then swap the scroll and potion. I guess you have to pause the game before you do this if it's multiplayer.

Marvin^42: Are you refer to Power Word: Silence spell? It has duration 7 rounds.
Card High Priestess from game with Aesgareth will silence you permanently. But it can be removed with spell Remove curse.

That's it, Deck of Many Things. Remove curse, eh? Thanks :)

Edit: ooh, since i'm already here, does anyone know why pause tends to not work in multiplayer games? autopause on enemy sighted, for example. I get the message "imoen: autopause emeny sighted" etc, but it tends to not pause the game. Also, hitting space bar tends to not work the first 2-3 times after enemies pop up and autopause fails. hitting space several times before it actually pauses the game makes for an annoying experience :(

if you play with another actual person, it could be because you are hitting the space bar simoltaineously(i know i spelled that wrong)/at the same time

Pausing in mutli-player games is just slow.... Never used auto-pause function really, so dunno about that. Unless you import new characters to your game on the go, depending on which classes you need you can move your MP game from the "mpsave" folder to the "save" folder and play the game as a single-player game, but with all your own characters. That would solve the slow-pause problem.

Thanks olimikrig, that worked excellent. Doing the final room of watcher's keep with sluggish pausing and a bit more lag than in single player would be horrible. First time i finished Watcher's keep by the way, and it was great :D Can't wait to see how it's like in IA :p Preparing Power Word: Reload.

Yeah, it's highly recommended that you move your MP games into the single player folder (unless, of course, you're actually playing multiplayer).

Especially if you play in turn based mode, pausing can be challenging enough as it is (since you often hit pause just as a round ends, and therefore UNpause the game when you meant to do the opposite). But adding in the multiplayer delay to that equation is just way too much for one to deal with.
