    Not much detail unfortunately. It seems to imply a ring of "exotic matter" is what does the warping... so how would you build the thing let alone turn it on and off? Very unclear :)

    Interesting stuff. I remember reading something similar way back. Everyone agrees that it's possible...but none knows how.

    A star-drive based on Linear Accelerator like CERN i far more likely.
    Warp-Bubbles are a bit on the exotic side!

    The drive design proposed in the article looks like the standard Warp-Drive on Vulcan Ships! :)

    I read about it too. Looks like a warp drive is not theoretically impossible at least. We've already got the tablets like they had, now al we need is teleporters :p
