What/where do you put in the baldur.ini file to activate the cheats?

    Can someone please copy and paste their baldur.ini file with the line for cheats to be enabled in here. Mine looks like:

    I'm trying to get the cheats to work. I've tried entering the debug mode line but no matter where I put it my game crashes before it even loads. I double click the icon and BAM it crashes right away. If I copy the original ini file back into the folder the game works fine. But how do I enable the cheats?

    Some how the forums crunched things together so you can't tell how close each part is. Sorry. I guess I'll need to know how many spaces/tabs to get it right between whatever it needs to go between or after if it's at the end???

    with no line for cheats. That small, original posting is nowhere to be found even with a search :(
    Can someone please help??

    If i remember correctly, it's possible for the game to overwrite the .ini if it contains options that are not correct - it doesn't seem to like copy and pasting as this might cause the quotations and commas to not appear in the right position to the game, at which point it purges your edited ini file and just overwrites it with a clean one.
    Try editing in the debug mode option by typing it in by hand.

    Here is a copy of my baldur.ini. (not only enables console, but also sets 'Cleric Ranger Spells' to 0, meaning you get all druid spells again on a ranger/cleric.)

    In the newest version of Baldur´s Gate EE they stopped using a Baldur.ini and use a Baldur.lua file instead that contains that info.
