We've never had any official place to comment on the weekly shots, so people never knew where to post or ask something... so the posts wound up being all over the boards. This way there's one centralized place to discuss them. I also added the link to this thread below the weekly screenshot thumbnail.

Bone gloems are bad-to-the-bone!

As for the pic, I think at that point in the game, summoned creatures would be pointless with all the high level spells that kill all summoned creatures instantly.

Looks cool though...nice title too!

Wonder if it was the author's comment. Nearly every SotW I have sent came with an inane comment that Tal (or someone) merely put on a more appropriate one.

The author sent a comment which had "warp core" in it, I just expanded on it a bit.

And yea, I'm the one making up the SoTW comments when I think I can come up with a better one than the one the screenshot author sent in (if any).

For some reason when I look at this shot of Jan killing the dragon the first thing that comes to my mind is Subotai saying "That's the way we do it!"

Edit: Oops, the quote ought to be "That's how we do it!" i guess that's what I get for not checking it first.

Hmm. Jan's portrait doesn't show the icon for stoneskin or any other buff. So how come he was unaffected by Tax's attack?

I got the feeling of Déja vue... I don't know why. Well personnaly I am not a fan of killing dragon screenshot, You've seen one you've seem 'em all!

Actually, we've had another shot of the same dragon being killed a couple of years ago. Unfortunately, people only ever sent in screenshots of Firkraag or the Shadow Dragon being killed. I don't have any more dragon battle screenshots at this point.

I'm the person that submitted the screenshot of Jan knocking Thax out in the blue. I can explain why he was immune to Thax's attack.

I ran into a rather bizarre level drain glitch. Jan became a thief/illusionist of level 1/0 . Since he was level zero, he was considered dead so was immune to all damage but could keep walking/attacking because he was still level 1 in a class.
