Grisly Cave

There will be hordes of Widowmakers, Widowmaker Spiderlings, and Ivory Spiderlings throughout the cave. Their attacks also inflict extra poisoning damage, and they can also use attacks that resemble the Binding Web spell. The point going for you will be that they have low Endurance and Deflection, so they can be mowed down quickly. Spare no spells and/or Camping Supplies if it makes the difference between living and dying.

The Widowmakers and Widowmaker Spiderlings will leave behind Spider Venom Sacs when killed.

  1. This is the entrance from Dyrford Crossing at #14.

  2. The party can find a Cave Coral at these spots.

  3. This opening exits to the Dyrford Crossing at #15.

  4. There will be a random scroll in this niche.

  5. There will be a random gem in this niche.

  6. Spider QueenThe party will encounter another horde of spiders here, led by the Spider Queen. She tends to hang back and won't physically attack until you've dispensed with her minions first.

  7. There will a couple of random gems in this bone pile.

  8. The Ogre named Korgrak will be here, along with two Elder Bears. He amounts to a possible sidetrack during the Blood Legacy quest, and is the focus of the quest called A Farmer's Pight.

    He is also a potential hireling for Caed Nua.

  9. There will be a hidden container here that requires a significant amount of Mechanics skill points to find while in scouting mode. It will have an item from the "Cave - Hidden, Near the Ogre" section of the random drop list.
