YAGA-SHURA'S STRONGHOLD, LEVEL 2

This is the second level of Yaga-Shura's stronghold. If you can hold your own against a large number of Fire Giants, you will find both Yaga-Shura's and Nyalee's hearts in this area.

  1. Here is where you arrive from Level 1 of Yaga-Shura's Stronghold.

  2. A couple of Fire Giants are waiting to do you in here. Watch out for the trap in the floor!

  3. This container can be looted for some minor treasure and a King's Tears gem.

  4. Here are a few Fire Giants and Fell Cats, plus their leader Berenn – a Fire Giant who can cast spells.

    Berenn leaves behind 3 Potions of Superior Healing, an assortment of gems including a Rogue Stone, and the Baalor's Claw (save this for Cespenar).

  5. About here is a trap in the floor.

  6. Disarm the traps in front of this alter, then approach it and click the altar to take a bit of fire damage. You get Yaga-Shura's Heart, and each party member receives 20,000 XP.

  7. Here is more minor treasure.

  8. Here will be more Fire Giants and Fell Cats.

  9. Loot this container for some gems, scrolls, and minor treasure.

  10. There is a trap right in front of this door. Disarm it, then open the door. You need a character with high strength to open the door.

  11. Here a slave woman demands to be set free. For freeing her, each party member receives 15,000 XP. She offers a bit of information on Yaga-Shura but nothing of importance.

    The wall container to the right of her is trapped. Loot it for a Two-handed Sword +2, the Stone Golem Page, 3,047 GP, and random treasure.

  12. The container on the top of the dais is trapped. It contains Yaga-Shura's Journal, the Beating Heart (Nyalee's Heart), and the Bag of Plenty +1.

  13. The area here is heavily trapped, and here you will find an Elemental Prince of Fire called Inix, along with a couple of Burning Men. Inix is worth 50,000 XP and drops the Amulet of the Master Harper and the halberd Ravager +4.

  14. Here is another door leading to Inix, with a trap right in front of it.
