Crossroad Keep Basement, The Ritual

Here is a bookcase where you’ll find the Brotherhood Journal, which hints that the Shadow Priests may be working at cross purposes with the Arcane Brotherhood.

Here is a shelf where you’ll find a Wand of Lesser Summoning and other loot. |

Here a Blade Golem will attack you. |

Black Garius’ ritual is in progress. A horde of Luskans attack you, including Champions and Arcane brothers. Haste, buffs, and area effect spells. Hold nothing back. The lot between them will leave behind Of Healthful Enchantments for the Body, a Wand of Fear, a Ring of Clear Thought +2, a Wand of Paralyzation and a Fist of the Legion. |

Black Garius himself will leave behind a Lesser Ring of Power, and the Silver Shard: Combat Bonus. |  |

Speak to Vale in order to head back to Neverwinter. In the meantime, those who helped Garius perform the ritual were only apparently dead. They rise again as dreaded undead monstrosities, Shadow Reavers. Once there, you’ll find out that a Githzerai who was once imprisoned in the Keep is now a prisoner again of the Watch. She insists her way into her company. She is Zhjaeve, who can now join your party as a cleric. Now everyone is back at the Crossroad Keep, which you are now the proud lord of. While there, Zhjaeve provides very important background information and points you to your next course, which leads to
the Ruins of Arvahn. |
